Wotif updates rates and availability to a number of sales channels:

* wotif.com
* lastminute.com.au
* travel.com.au
* latestays.com
* asiawebdirect.com

I f you are registered with Wotif you can now automate availability, rates and bookings by interfacing your iBex account to Wotif. Click here for more information on Wotif.

V2 users click here for alternative connection instructions.

Set up the connection yourself using our self help instructions or click here to request your Seekom account manager to setup for you (in which case a fee of $25* + gst applies).
*
Fee may vary if service provided by a Seekom reseller.

Step Action
1 Instructions follow to obtain your Wotif hotel code.

2 At website www.wotif.com search for your property as if you are a member of the public (ie. do not login).

3 Once you access your property's public listing your hotel ID will display in the web address in the format W123456 (this being an example).

Drop the 'W' and note the numerals only which will be required to enter into Seekom iBex XML Agent connection panel. You will also require your Wotif Property ID for step XX below.

4 Instructions follow to obtain and set your Wotif room type codes.

5 Login to your Wotif supplier account.

6 For each room type click 'Edit room' hyperlink.

7 Web page address will end in format .roomTypeId=123456, this is the room ID (this Room ID of 123456 being an example).

8 At field 'Hotel Room Type Code' enter room code to match that obtained displayed in web address (eg. 123456) and click 'Save' button.

9 Ensure 'Total Room Capacity' matches that set in Seekom iBex, or amend as required.

10 Ensure 'Number included in price' matches base max pax set in Seekom iBex.

11 Click 'Home' tab.

12 Repeat steps 6 to 11 for each Wotif room type.

13 Login to your Seekom iBex account.

14 Add Wotif as an ODN agent in Seekom iBex

* Select 'Regd' Users from the 'User Maint' menu.
* Scroll down and click 'New' button.
* Select Wotif as a 'Seekom ODN Agent'
* Click 'Save' button (towards bottom of screen)

15 Instructions to setup XML agent control panel for Wotif follow:

* Select 'Property' from the 'Admin' menu
* Scroll down and click 'XML Agents' button

Remote Service Control Panel screen will open

16 At 'Available Services' field select Wotif.

17 Check 'Enabled' field

18 Enter Wotif property ID at field 'Remote Property ID' (obtained in step 4)

19 At 'Notify Errors' field enter your email address

20 It is recommended 'Stop Emails' are set as:

* Operator - not checked
* Property - checked
* Customer - checked
* Agent - checked
* 3rd Party - checked
* Disable * Auto - checked

21 Set 'Allocation Handling field as required.

This is only relevant if you will be mapping a single room type from iBex to multiple room types at
Wotif.

22 Complete each room mapping row as follows:

Remote room ID - enter as obtained in step 8
Rate Name - Select as required
Request - we recommend this is set as 'Unavailable'

To map an iBex room type to further room types and/or stay durations at Wotif click '+'

23 Check 'Re-Synch on Save' and click 'Save' button

24 Wait a few minutes and click 'View Log' hyperlink (coloured blue)

25 If you have performed the connection successfully your will see OK message. See example below.

2009-05-22 11:22:46 11:22:44 WTF, wotif, abchotel, 1234: NotifyInventory([9796,9795], 2009-05-21, 2009-06-21);
11:22:45 OK

26 You will need to request Wotif to activate seamless connection to Seekom. Click here to send your request.

NOTE: You will be required to enter Wotif Property ID (as obtained at step 3 above).

As it can take a few days for Wotif 'Seamless' process to be activated you may have to manually load bookings received for a short period.

IMPORTANT: Wotif receives the base room rate only from Seekom - you will need to maintain any changes to extra adult/child prices directly at Wotif.

If you wish to provide availability from Seekom to Wotif for differing minimum stay periods on a room type you will need to duplicate the room at Wotif for each differing minimum stay.

Base 1 pax rates from Seekom are not transmitted to Wotif unless max guest count in rate is also 1. Where a room holds more than 1 person and base rate in Seekom is set as 1, the 2 person rate will be transmitted to Wotif.

You can transmit a deal description to Wotif by entering a description in the rate inclusion field within Seekom iBex. The way to do this is:
* login to iBex
* Access Calendar from Admin menu
* Select view of Availability/Bookings/Rates
* Click on rate short code (eg. nt-studio)
* Enter details at Conditions/Inclusions field
* Click Save button
* Repeat as required

After any extensive modification of your rates/prices within iBex it is recommended you perform a full re-synch to Wotif.  Click here for instructions.
